A Message From the Principal:

Dear Parent,

Parent/Teacher communication is an essential factor for a student to be successful in school. You recently received a student progress report. This report is not part of the student’s permanent record but rather a tool of communication between the teacher and you. The purpose of this report is to help you guide your child in areas they may need improvement. On November 3 rd we will have our first Parent/Teacher Conference of the year. The report card provides a limited amount of information, and we recognize you may need more of the total picture for you to work with your child. Conferences give parents a chance to ask questions about the student’s learning and classroom expectations. It is an opportunity to exchange information about your child that may assist the teacher to work more effectively with the student. This is a time to resolve concerns, and most importantly, a time to celebrate successes.
