September News

Welcome to the start of the 2015-2016 school year.  We are excited to see so many of our new and returning families this year and we hope that this year is as exciting for you as it is for us.  At the beginning of the month, the children will be introduced to rules and procedures of the classroom.  Next, many of the children will begin to work on letter recognition and writing.  Homework will start going home on the week of September 13th and we are asking that you sit down with your child to assist them with their work. Parents please resist from doing the assignment for your child because this is one of the ways we assess their skills. Teachers will be completing developmental assessment on your child throughout the month of September to better give the teacher an overview of what our students know and what they should learn throughout the year.

We have added several new extra curricula activities to our school this month and their schedule is below:

Mondays – Soccer @ 9:30

Tuesdays – Basketball @9:30

Wednesday -Gymnastics @10:00
