I hope everyone has enjoyed a wonderful summer, creating fond memories with family and friends. The month of August is always amazing. Summer is coming to an end and the school is filled with the buzz of a new school year starting soon.
The new school year is quickly approaching and your Merryhill teachers and I are anxious to see everyone on the first day of school on August 22, 2016. All students in the beginner through kindergarten classes must be in Merryhill uniform for school. Covered shoes are required.
If your child is in need of new uniforms, you may visit the website at CampusClubUniforms.com and input the school code 1030 to see the different options available and place your order, which can be delivered to the school for your convenience.
We will be closed during the week of August 15th through the 19th but we would like to invite enrolled families in for a tour and meet and greet with your new teacher and classmates on August 19th from 10am – 12pm.
The August lunch menus are available online by clicking the lunch option, you may stop by to pick one up. As a reminder, we are a nut free school.
We have an exciting year planned for you and your family.
The first event to bring to your attention will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 6:00-7:30 PM. This will be our annual Back to School Night. Your child’s teacher will be sharing with you an outline for the school year, including his/her goals and expectations for the class. This will also be a great opportunity for you to get to know your child’s teacher a little better and ask any questions you might have.
For a complete 2016-2017 calendar of holidays and closures, please stop by the front desk.
Thank you for trusting us with the education and care of your precious child/children. Thank you for sharing your family with our Merryhill family.
Sincerely,
Kelly Taylor-Principal
