It sure is HOT out there. With summer coming to an end we are now turning our focus to the new 2017-2018 school year. Packets have been mailed out, classrooms are being assigned and our training week is quickly approaching. Our staff is excited about another great year of learning. But first things first, all of our teachers appreciate you allowing them the time to receive the training that make them better educators. We have so many great training planned that will enhance our daily program and safety. Now that we have mentioned the word safety we have just a few reminders to kick off the school year. Please remember to use the Ipad to check your child in and out each day. This is how we keep track of who is here when we have to evacuate the building in an emergency. It also allows you the opportunity to receive all of those wonderful pictures we take each day. Next, please remember to put your child in the proper foot wear. We do not allow Crocs, boots, sandles or any loose fitting shoe. We love tennis shoes!!! They provide the best support for the playground activities we have planned. Lastly, please drive carefully in our parking lot. Our little children dart out very quickly and if we are not paying full attention it could turn out badly. Please hold your child’s hand when walking in our parking lot. Better safe than sorry.
Good bye to all of our summer camp guests. We look forward to seeing you next summer for another great few weeks of fun. We hope everyone has a few special memories that they will share down the road about their best summer ever.
Good luck to all in the new school year.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fitzgerald, Principal
