A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE: We hope you are all able to beat the heat and enjoying your summer. We would like to welcome all the new families that joined us last month and this month, we hope you enjoy being part of the MERRYHILL CALVINE FAMILY.
This month the children will get to enjoy the summer months, with waterplay days. Please check the front lobby boards and classroom doors for the days that they are scheduled. We also will be having a concert from our own Music Matt and Recorder Group on August 9th. Also we will be doing our annual Hot August Car Races on August 10th, the children are working hard in their classes with the teachers to create their car.
Don’t forget to check your Links 2 Home daily to see what your child is learning and memories that have been captured by the teachers. If you need help with downloading this app please see the front office.

MUSIC MATT CONCERT: On August 9th at 9:45 am Music Matt and his Recorder Students will be putting on a show for the other children in the school.
ART CAMP: Ms. Jenna will be doing a Art Camp from August 7th through the 10th. We still have 3 spaces left if the class if you would like to sign your child up. Please see the front desk for more information.
HOT AUGUST CAR RACES: We will be doing our annual Hot August Car Races on August 10th. The children are working on making cars in their class so they can race the other classes in the school.
RECYCLING CAMP: Ms. Carolyn will be doing a Recycling Camp from August 14th-18th. The children will make various projects using various recycling materials. We still have a few spaces left if you would like to sign up your child.
WATER PLAY DAYS: We will be having Water Play Days on August 3rd, 16th and 29th. Please have your child bring their swimsuit, towel and water shoes in a plastic bag for a morning of fun.
STORYBOOK WEEK: We will be celebrating the love of books the week of August 28th-September 1st. On August 31st we would like to have your child dress up as their favorite storybook character and bring in the book.
