What We Will Learn!

Language Arts: Students will focus on the idea of sharing Our ” Essential Questions” ….. What lessons can you learn from story characters?, How do animals communicate? Why is the order of story events important? How do words and pictures help tell a story? How do the parts of a story work together? In Phonics students will read words with short vowel sounds. double final consonants; and clusters with l and s.Social Studies: Students will learn about citizens ,patriotism and national symbols.

Sciences: We will finish up our Parts of Animals unit with Arthropods. Then we will begin learning about how animals survive in their environment.

Math: Students will subtract within 20 demonstrating fluency for subtraction within 10. Students will use the relationship between addition and subtraction to solve problems.

Parent Conferences
