Hello Kindergarten Families!

My name is Payten Pillsbury, and this year is my 2nd year teaching kindergarten at Merryhill. This last year has been filled with its ups and downs, but our community here at Merryhill has been working hard to continue to foster an environment where students can continue their learning and growing. I feel honored to be a part of this school community and would love to share more about myself and my educational background with you.

In May of 2019 I graduated from Flagler College with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in reading and teaching English as a second language. My four years at Flagler included over 150 hours of practice teaching in multiple different grades along with a 5 month long full time internship in 3rd grade. After graduating college, I received my wonderful job here at Merryhill teaching kindergarten.
