Leadership & Faculty Home / About Us / Leadership & Faculty Dedicated Leaders & Expert Teachers At our school, everyone works together to make sure students and families feel happy and supported. Our leaders, staff, and teachers are all here to help. Our teachers love sharing what they know, whether it’s about reading, music, or outer space! They make learning fun and exciting, helping students explore new things and find what they love. Through the Merryhill Method, we create a special place where students can grow and learn every day. From the Head of School Quinn Letan Dear Parent, Thank you for your interest in Merryhill Preschool, Elementary and Middle School in Milpitas. I want to take this opportunity to share with you a little bit about our school. For over 25 years, Merryhill School has been a premier private school in the Bay Area. Our mission is to ensure that our students are academically successful, confident, and capable of applying their skills to new challenges. Our curriculum was created by a team of highly-skilled experts in curriculum design, instruction and assessment. It focuses on building fundamental skills in reading, writing, and math, beginning in junior kindergarten (our program for children four years of age). Our teachers integrate 21st century themes and skills, such as social responsibility, accountability, and media literacy, into every subject. To improve our students’ communication and social skills, we host events such as the Big Brother/Big Sister Club. This is an opportunity for our older students to work with our younger students on reading, writing, and special projects. The program teaches them the importance of compassion and teamwork. We create global students by exposing them to different cultures in their communities. Our Giving Without Walls program allows our 1st through 8th grade students to identify a community need, investigate issues, research and evaluate solutions, develop and implement a plan of action, and assess their results. Please feel free to contact us to schedule a private tour. We look forward to meeting with you, gaining an understanding of your child’s educational needs, and discussing how we can work together to meet them.
