Back to school Review!
A Note from Our Principal
As we wrap up August, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for making this Back to School season such a wonderful success!
While the summer weather may be winding down, the fun is far from over. We have plenty of exciting activities ahead, and we can’t wait to enjoy them with your children.
If you have any questions about the school year so far, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Warmly,
Erika Van Rhyn, Principal
Family Referral Bonus & Open House
Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? Invite them to our Open Houses on September 24th. When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a referral credit. Ask us for details!
Back to School Reminders
Thank you for helping us keep everything current. We have had a safe and smooth start for all our students.
We’re so excited to have your child with us and want to ensure a smooth, happy experience for everyone. Below are a few important reminders to help keep things running smoothly:
- Clock In & Out: Please remember to clock your child in (before drop-off) and out (after pick-up) each day using the iPad located on the wall in our lobby.
- Family Photo: We’d love for you to bring in a family photo to display in your child’s classroom. Having familiar faces nearby helps children feel more comfortable and connected. (You can also send this through the Links 2 Home app)
- Label Everything: Please make sure to label all personal items, this includes water bottles, lunch boxes, jackets, backpacks, and extra clothes.
- Water Bottles: Send a labeled water bottle daily so your child stays hydrated throughout the day.
- Extra Clothes: Accidents and spills happen! Please keep a complete extra set of clothes (including socks and underwear) in your child’s cubby at all times (please make sure these are uniform colored for students who wear uniforms).
- Nap Time Items: If your child stays for nap time, please bring a standard fitted crib sheet and a small blanket. These will be sent home weekly to be washed.
- Healthy Lunches: Please send a nut-free lunch if your child is not participating in the school lunch program. We are a nut-free campus due to allergies.
- Arrival Time: We encourage all children to arrive by 9:00 AM, as this is when our core learning activities begin. Arriving on time helps your child feel included and sets a positive tone for the day.
- Toys from Home: We kindly ask that children leave personal toys at home, unless it’s for a special class activity (you’ll be notified in advance).
- Communication: Please check your child’s Daily Report and cubby daily for important notes, art projects, or updates from the classroom.
