Hello Merryhill Families!

October was a month full of excitement and learning at our school. Here’s a look at some highlights:

1. Fall Festivities:
Our classrooms embraced the fall season with pumpkin art, leaf crafts, and seasonal storytime. Students explored colors, shapes, and creativity while celebrating the beauty of autumn.

2. Cultural Learning:
We continued to foster curiosity and understanding through lessons about different traditions celebrated around the world. Children learned the importance of diversity, kindness, and community. Our school community came together to celebrate the Festival of Lights! Students enjoyed fun activities, colorful decorations, and learned about the traditions and significance of Diwali.

We’re proud to celebrate diversity, culture, and the joy of learning together.

3. Parent & Family Engagement:
Thank you to all families who joined us for classroom visits and read in their child’s class this month. Your involvement makes our school community stronger and more connected.

4. Looking Ahead:

• November 3-5: Lifetouch Picture Days
• November 21: Cultural Feast Celebrating traditions with delicious food!
• November 10-21: Tom the Turkey disguise contest – Teachers are competing to save Tom from being “eaten”! Be ready to vote!
