Middle school students are at an age where they're eager to express themselves. One of our electives this year is iMovie Productions. iMovie gives students a platform to be creative, whether they're making documentaries, short films, or video presentations. It allows them to explore storytelling in a dynamic way.
With the great weather we are experiencing, our music teacher, Mr. Speas, is taking advantage of having class outdoors. Today, our 2nd grade students are working on navigating Garage Band. Students listened to and offered feedback on their partner's music.
Developing a love for reading early in life sets the stage for lifelong learning and personal growth. Children who enjoy reading are more likely to become avid readers as adults, leading to enhanced academic and professional success, as well as greater personal fulfillment. This week was NV Reading Week. We had a lot of fun with dress up days and reading activities on our campus!
Elementary math lays the groundwork for more advanced mathematical concepts in later education. It introduces fundamental concepts such as numbers, operations, shapes, and measurements, which are essential for understanding more complex mathematical ideas in the future. These 2nd grade students worked hard in our supplementary math program First in Math to achieve Grand Champion status. Congratulations boys!
