Merryhill Private School of Elk Grove

Independence That Lasts a Lifetime

Your child will learn to make choices and take ownership of their work, from managing their own assignments in elementary school to mentoring younger students in middle school. It’s independence they’ll carry with them well beyond graduation. Long after they’ve left Merryhill, that same self-direction will show up in how they take on something new.

Resilience Through Every Challenge

Your child will learn to turn an incorrect answer, a failed experiment, or a challenging conversation with a friend into a chance to grow. At Merryhill, we teach students to adjust their approach and keep going, turning setbacks into practice for resilience instead of reasons to quit. Ask any of our teachers and they’ll tell you: our students don’t give up easily.

Every Child Is Known By Name

From the moment your child enters our school, they’re recognized, welcomed, and valued as an individual. Teachers learn each student’s strengths and needs, building the kind of relationships that make school feel like family. Our classrooms are warm and inviting, so our students feel comfortable exploring and learning.

One Continuous Journey

Kindergarten through middle school unfolds as one intentionally designed experience. Familiar teachers, consistent expectations, and the same Merryhill Method carry them from their first day to their last. By then, they’ve traded the role of a new student for the role of a leader.
