A Note From Our Principal
August is coming to an end and another school year is upon us! I want to take a moment to thank everyone for your cooperation to make this summer successful and fun for our students. The children had a blast with Foodie Fun Week and Sports Week! We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new families and a sincere thank you to our returning families. It was a pleasure catching up with our families during our Meet the Admin with Coffee and Pastries and a joy seeing parents meeting and connecting with new families.
September is going to be a fun filled month starting with Pony Rides and pictures! The children will have the opportunity to enjoy Dramatic Play as they dress up as a Cow girl/boy and strike a pose on a horse. Merryhill always includes family traditions and celebrations, so we will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Day on September 15th. We are happy to announce that we will have our first Family Event of the Year in the month of September! We look forward to many memories to come!
Sincerely,
Karina Medina
Teddy Bear Family Picnic
Get ready to meet our Merryhill Families during our first Family Event of the year! You will enjoy crafts as you work with your child to make bear/stuff animal accessories. Due to Covid, we would like to avoid any buffet style meals/snacks, therefore bring your picnic blanket, basket and utensils and enjoy dinner with your family or join another family during the event! Of course your teddy bear/stuffed animal will like to join the fun as well. The children will enjoy sharing their stuffy with their friends, dancing and taking photos! We hope to see you there on September 16th from 4:30-6:00pm.
Happy Birthday Johnny Appleseed
The children will celebrate Johnny Apple Seed’s birthday on September 26th! In celebration, the children will enjoy exploring with science, cooking and math while they learn about apples all week. Look out for some photos!
