Dear Merryhill Families,

November is here, and we’re filled with gratitude for our amazing students, families, and staff! This month is all about giving thanks, celebrating our community, and learning through fun, meaningful experiences.

🍁 Food Drive Success
A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our Elk Grove Food Bank Food Drive! Our barrel is overflowing thanks to your generosity. The last day to donate is Thursday, November 13th. We’re proud to give back to families in need this holiday season.

🌎 Cultural Feast
Each classroom will host a Cultural Feast this month! Families are encouraged to bring a dish from their culture to share. This special event celebrates the diversity within our school and helps children learn about different foods and traditions from around the world.

– Veteran’s Day Closure
Please remember that the school will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day.

🦃 Thanksgiving Break
We will also be closed November 26th–28th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We wish all our families a warm and restful holiday filled with gratitude and joy.
