Health & Safety Home / About Us / Health & Safety Keeping Children Safe & Happy at Merryhill Preschool Centennial Hills Growth happens when children feel secure enough to explore. That’s why a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment is our highest priority at Merryhill Preschool Centennial Hills, upheld through comprehensive health and safety practices and guidance from local and state health departments. Secure Building Our campus is only accessible to registered families, staff, and approved visitors. Every visitor checks in at the front desk, shows identification, and wears a visitor badge for their visit. We require prior authorization for pick-up, and ID is checked and verified against our approved list every time. Fostering Healthy Habits If your child feels sick in the morning, please keep them home until they’re feeling better. Should a child become ill while at school, we’ll care for them and call you to arrange pick-up right away. We also encourage children to cover coughs and sneezes and to wash their hands often. Sparkling Classrooms Because germs spread quickly among young children, our team cleans classrooms and common areas often, with extra attention to doorknobs, light switches, and toys. All cleaning products are used with care and locked safely away from students. High-Quality Instructors Every teacher on our staff passes a thorough background check and interview process, and receives training in child abuse awareness and prevention, CPR, allergy protocol, first aid, supervision, and behavior management. They stay calm and act fast in an emergency. Every child here is known by name and never overlooked.
