Health & Safety Standards Behind Every Day at
Merryhill Preschool Pocket

Confidence grows out of feeling safe, and that’s the environment we build every day at Merryhill Preschool Pocket. Our highest priority is a healthy, safe, and nurturing space for students and staff, supported by comprehensive practices and current guidance from local and state health departments.

Building Security

Access to our campus is reserved for registered families, staff, and approved visitors. Every visitor checks in at the front desk, shows ID, and wears a badge for the length of their visit. We require prior pick-up authorization, and we check ID and confirm our approved list every time.

Sick Policy

If your child feels sick in the morning, we ask that you keep them home until they’re feeling better. Should a child become ill during the school day, we’ll care for them and call you to arrange pick-up. We also encourage children to cover coughs and sneezes and to wash their hands regularly.

Cleaning Routine

Young children can pick up germs quickly, so our team cleans classrooms and common areas often, with extra attention to doorknobs, light switches, and toys. Cleaning products are handled carefully by trained staff and stored in locked cabinets, away from children.

High-Quality Teachers

Before joining our team, every educator completes a background check and interview process. Ongoing training covers child abuse awareness and prevention, CPR, allergy protocol, first aid, supervision, and behavior management, so our teachers can respond calmly and quickly in an emergency. Every child is known by name, and that promise carries through every part of our day, from morning drop-off to pick-up.

Your Child’s Educational Journey Begins Here.

Our preschool provides a supportive space where every child thrives.
