Campus Security Our building welcomes only registered families, staff, and approved visitors. Every visitor checks in at the front desk, shows identification, and wears a badge while on campus. Pick-up requires prior authorization from families, and we verify ID against our approved list before releasing any child. Staying Ahead of Illness Keeping our classrooms healthy starts with keeping sick children home. If your child wakes up feeling unwell, we ask that you keep them home until they feel better. If illness develops during the school day, we care for your child immediately and call you for pick-up. We also teach children to cover coughs and sneezes and wash their hands. Clean Spaces Germs spread quickly among young children, so our staff cleans classrooms and common areas throughout the day, with extra focus on doorknobs, light switches, and toys. Cleaning products are always used carefully and stored in locked cabinets, out of students’ reach. Nurturing Educators Our educators complete extensive background checks and interviews before joining our team, and they’re trained in child abuse awareness and prevention, CPR, allergy protocol, first aid, supervision, and behavior management. They stay calm and act fast when it matters. And through the Merryhill Method’s face-to-name rule, every child at Merryhill Preschool is known, seen, and accounted for, every day.
