Leadership & Faculty Home / About Us / Leadership & Faculty Dedicated Leaders & Expert Teachers At our school, everyone works together to make sure students and families feel happy and supported. Our leaders, staff, and teachers are all here to help. Our teachers love sharing what they know, whether it’s about reading, music, or outer space! They make learning fun and exciting, helping students explore new things and find what they love. Through the Merryhill Method, we create a special place where students can grow and learn every day. From the Head of School Kayci Stephens Dear Future Parent, Merryhill Elementary School in Summerlin has provided outstanding private kindergarten through 5th grade education since 1997. Over the years, parents have complimented us on our warm and enthusiastic teachers, our understanding of the needs of each child, and our rigorous, standards-based curriculum. Merryhill teachers are passionate, dedicated individuals who use their creativity and sensitivity to bring our well-rounded curriculum to life. Our teachers thoughtfully adapt lessons to make sure instruction stays engaging, appropriately challenging, and relevant to every student. We believe that beyond the core subjects, classes in art, music, technology/innovative studies, Spanish, and physical education are essential to educating the whole child. Our curriculum is founded on rich and challenging content that engages our students. We inspire them to develop a love of learning. We understand, however, that they need more than academic knowledge to achieve future success. Field trips are one way to help them make real life connections to topics learned in the classroom. Children receive the best possible education when parents are involved. For that reason, we offer many convenient ways to stay in touch with us including weekly e-newsletters, classroom web pages and teacher email. We are proud to say that at our school, effective communication among parents, teachers, and staff is a way of life. Please feel free to contact us to schedule a private tour, to allow you and your child to experience Merryhill School. I look forward to meeting with you to gain an understanding of your child’s educational needs, and discuss how we can work together to meet them.
