I’m David Bart. I teach music to preschool and all grade levels. Merryhill students enjoy music class once a week. I emphasize and encourage participation and we spend much of our time singing and performing for fellow classmates and for other classes. We explore as many instruments as possible and listen to performances by accomplished young musicians. I hope to get students excited about making music and listening to music of all kinds.
Older students attain a meaningful understanding of the origin and history of musical compositions they may recognize from TV, film, gaming and other sources of popular culture.
