Hello! My name is Ms. Ouellette, and I teach middle school English Language Arts. I previously taught high school in Washington state, and this is my fourth year at Merryhill. I have my Bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts and my Master’s degree in Secondary Education. I very much look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your students. In 5th grade, we are working in our seventh unit “Above, Below and Beyond,” and will finish the unit with a final project that highlights a famous explorer.
In 6th grade, we are working in our fifth unit “Surviving the Unthinkable,” and we will finish the unit with the creation of an ABC book that explains tips to being a survivor. We are also currently working in the “Punctuation” module in our Grammar Textbooks.
In 7th grade, we are working in our fifth unit “Game On,” and we will finish the unit with a poem emulation. We are also currently working in the “Punctuation” module in our Grammar Textbooks.
In 8th grade, we are working in our fifth unit “Finding Your Path,” and we will finish the unit with the creation of a resume and cover letter. We are also currently working in the “Punctuation” module in our Grammar Textbooks.
