October is a month filled with spirit and fun! Check out what we have in store as the month rolls in!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Merryhill is teaming up with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to raise awareness throughout the month by wearing PINK on Wednesdays! We will also be collecting loose change and making a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation at the end of the month. Each classroom will have a jug decorated in pink for you to drop your change. Last year, we raised right at $100.00 and we are hoping to have the same if not better outcome!
We will be kicking off October with Spirit Week!! You will find a calendar of each days dress up themes in your child’s folder as well.
Monday 10/3: Camo Day
Tuesday 10/4: Western Day
Wednesday 10/5: Crazy Sock Day (Don’t forget to wear your pink!!)
Thursday 10/6: Decades Day (50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s dress attire)
Friday 10/7: Sports Team Day
Monday, October 10th, will be our Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences. The school will close at 12:00pm and conferences will be held beginning at 1:00pm. Sign up sheets will be available in the sign in/out books beginning Monday, October 3rd.
Pre K will be headed to the Pumpkin Patch on Friday, October 3rd.
